Bogotá Day 2
Morning very cool and overcast. Temperature in the low 60's. Plan today is to pick up Sandra and go to Monserráte. It's a high point that overlooks the entire city.
To go up Monserrate, you have to take either the Finicula or Gondola up a nearly vertical incline. We took the gondola up and the fuinicula down. At the top it was clearing but quite cool . we had breakfast at a restaurant at the top.

After we gt down we went to the main Cathedral square. Hara decided her feet had had enough so she went back to join JT who had stayed behind because his breathing couldn't handle the altitude. We continued on to see the Gold museum, which we got into free because we were pensionados. Maybe that's what they mean by "golden agers". Did a little shopping and found a new Panama hat and computer bag. Decided to just do dinner at the hotel as we were too pooped to try to negotiate another wild cab drive through heavy downtown traffic.
